Wireless Network Security Presentation (CIPFA CAT event, 14th September 2009) The insecurities of the WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) have been well documented and only the most foolish of organisations would even consider using such a broken technology. WEP has no been superseded with WPA/WPA2 which raised the security bar significantly. But do these technologies really offer sufficient protection for organisations or are there additional concerns that we need to think about?
